FARBA is an iOS app that turns a single selfie into studio-quality portraits, cartoon scenes, and short AI videos. We started FARBA in 2023 because existing AI photo tools flattened faces into generic avatars. Our focus: preserving likeness while giving you 100+ real creative directions — from editorial fashion to Ghibli-style illustrations.

Likeness first

Every style is tuned to keep your face recognizable. If a generation loses likeness, it doesn't ship — no matter how striking the aesthetic.

Privacy by default

Photos are processed on our servers and deleted after generation. We don't train AI models on your images. Full policy on our Privacy page.

Every new style gets reviewed against a brief — lighting, composition, color, diversity of subjects — before it ships. Our guides on the blog document what we ship and why.

  • Hands-on testing. Every style shipped on ai-styles is generated internally across diverse subjects before release.
  • Transparent AI disclaimers. Sample images on this site are AI-generated; actual results depend on your input photo. We label this across the site.
  • No retouched faces without likeness checks. Our release gate includes a likeness pass and a bias review.
  • Cited sources on the blog. When we publish trend reports, we link to the original App Store, TikTok, or editorial sources.
